Dr. Rosemary Draganic

Veterinarian

Dr. Draganic graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College after getting her Bachelor of Science at the University of Guelph. Rosemary has worked at the Kingsway Animal Hospital since her graduation, which seems like yesterday but sadly was not. She is still keen for medicine, surgery and her furry patients who always make the challenges worthwhile. ‘It has been a pleasure to be surrounded by my team, colleagues and clients. I feel very fortunate. Thanks so much to all.’

Dr. Wendy Van Slyke

Veterinarian, Retired

After 40 years of clinical practice, I retired at the end of March 2021. I have shared countless joyful and sorrowful moments with you and your pets over these decades. It has been my sincere honour and pleasure to be of service to you all and to work with my wonderful staff at the Kingsway Animal Hospital.
The stories we have shared and the relationships we have forged are priceless. I hope to continue with my volunteer spay/neuter work with various organizations and sincerely want to thank you all for helping make life lasting memories over my professional years.

Dr. Geraldine Grieve

Veterinarian

Dr. Grieve graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1991 after getting her Bachelor of Science at the University of Toronto. She has been with the Kingsway family for over 20 years and looks forward to many more. When not at the clinic, Geraldine enjoys outdoor adventures and spending time with her “fur family” at home.

Dr. Lindsay Mayer

Veterinarian

After completing her BSc at the University of Toronto, Lindsay ventured across the Atlantic to attend University College Dublin School of Veterinary Medicine. She graduated with honours in 2021 and has been at The Kingsway Animal Hospital since April 2023. Lindsay's professional interests include soft tissue surgery, multimodal analgesia, and preventative care. In her spare time, Lindsay loves cooking, practicing yoga, and spending time outdoors.

Dr. Devon Edwards

Dr. Devon Edwards

Veterinarian

Dr. Edwards grew up in Mississauga, Ontario with her parents, sister, 3 cats (Romeo, Juliet, and Shakespeare), and rescue dog, Lulu. She studied Animal Biology at The University of British Columbia in Vancouver and the University of Guelph. She then graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2021.

Following graduation, Dr. Edwards worked for the Sarnia District Humane Society where she gained invaluable skills in shelter medicine, preventative medicine, and surgery. Her professional interests include preventative medicine, palliative care, disaster relief work, and surgery. In her free time, she enjoys snowboarding, working out, travelling, and spending time with her friends, family, and her two retired racing greyhounds, Phoebe and Amie.

Alex

Veterinary Technician

Alex wrote his Veterinary Technician exams at Ridgetown in 1997. Alex has worked at the Kingsway Animal Hospital since June of 1998. Alex likes to enjoy the outdoors on his time off whether that be gardening, camping or other outdoor activities. Alex shares his home with his cat and some tropical fish.

Krysten

Registered Veterinary Technician

Krysten graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at Sheridan College, and wrote her exams in 2019. She was raised in the area and has been working at The Kingsway Animal Hospital since she was in high school. Outside of work, Krysten spends a lot of time caring for her various pets and plants at home. She has personally cared for dogs, lizards, hedgehogs, tropical fish, and has a large collection of indoor plants.

Jesse

Registered Veterinary Technician

Jesse graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at Seneca College in 2022 after obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from the University of Guelph. In her spare time she enjoys seeing friends, watching movies, and spending time with her pets Abhi, the cockapoo, and Perogie, the tuxedo cat.

Kerry

Animal Care

Kerry joined the Kingsway Animal Hospital in 2007. Through Georgian College and the OSPCA, she completed an Animal Care program, specializing in animal cruelty investigation.

Alyshia

Reception/Client Care

Alyshia joined the Kingsway Animal Hospital in 2006. She enjoys travelling the country with her husband, exploring all Canada has to offer. They share their home with three kitties.

Marie-Rose

Reception/Client Care

Marie-Rose joined the Kingsway Animal Hospital in March of 2021. She graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in English and Indigenous Studies. In her free time, she enjoys reading and spending time with her dog, Maverick.

Vittoria

Reception/Client Care

Vittoria joined the Kingsway Animal hospital in October 2022. She enjoys reading, travelling, spending time with family, friends and her two kitties.
