February is Dental Health Month and we consider it a perfect time to bring awareness to the importance of your pets’ oral health.
We invite you to take advantage of a promotion running through January until March 15th. Let’s work together to give your pet the gift of a kissable mouth. We would like to offer all dental cleanings and polishes scheduled during this time at a cost of $621.81+HST, a 10% savings.
It is important to recognize the signs of dental disease before they become a major concern and start to affect other organs such as the heart and kidneys. Bad breath, bleeding or inflamed gums, pawing at the mouth and loss of appetite may be signs of periodontal disease. When left untreated, it not only can lead to infection of the mouth, but can pose a risk for bacteria to be introduced to other parts of the body. The American Animal Hospital Association recommends an annual dental prophylaxis to remove the dental plaque and tartar that build up on your pet’s teeth throughout the year-just like with us!
Please call us at (416)233-3277 to give your pet a kissable mouth!
This promotion does not include any age appropriate blood-work, dental radiographs or extractions of teeth.
This promotion is only applicable to Professional Dental Cleaning and oral exam.
If your pet requires more extensive dental work, an estimate and treatment plan will be provided to you.

As of February 20th, The Kingsway Animal Hospital will be welcoming Dr. Emily Chris to our team.
Dr. Chris graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2015 after completing a Bachelor of Science at the University of Guelph. She spent her first 3.5 years in clinical practice at two well respected clinics within Toronto. With her comes an abundance of passion for the profession as she is from a family full of veterinarians. She has a special interest in medicine cases and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Chris believes there is nothing more important than trusting your veterinarian, so she works hard to create long lasting relationships with clients and their furry family members.
Dr. Chris has been waiting patiently to join the Kingsway team as she grew up in the area and was a co-op student with us almost 15 years ago. We are excited to have her return to the clinic as a permanent part of the team!
