Update – Ontario Phase 2 Re-opening
With the recent changes in Ontario, some businesses are able to open their doors to customers at 25% of capacity. In order to do so, certain requirements must be met by the business. Public Health requires that a business have the ability to maintain social distancing between individuals within their premises. Since we are a small practice and veterinary examinations involve close-proximity with pet owners and medical staff, social distancing is not possible at this time.
Further, we pride ourselves on our ability to provide medical care for as many of our patients as we can. Opening our doors would limit the number of patients we can see per day, resulting in all clients experiencing longer wait times. We also have a responsibility to our staff and the community to continue to keep everyone safe during reopening. Therefore, for now, we will continue to operate via curbside appointments and pickups.
